The KS-160 Standardized Designs
UCS developed the standardized designs of the catenary systems for the speed up to 160 km/h (KS-160). Our standardized designs of the catenary systems comply with all technical requirements and ensure long operation period and stable work in wide range of temperatures and current loads required by more heavy and high-speed railway vehicles.
The standardized KS-160 designs are used for renewal and modernization of ways of the Russian Railways.
The five modifications of the KS-160 catenary system are provided: for DC and AC, with insulated or non-insulated horizontal or inclined consoles.
The KS-160.11 and KS-160.12 standardized designs are used for renewal and modernization of the AC and DC catenary systems of railway stations.
The basic standardized designs were updated in 2008-2010 due to the extensive adoption of metal consoles.
The 4363-3 and 4363-4 standardized designs are used for catenary systems going under artificial constructions.
